Ten years on from one of the defining political events of the 21st century – the referendum that sparked the UK’s decision to depart from the European Union – three new commissions reflect on what it means to be European today.

Featuring brand new works from British-Caribbean composer Elaine Mitchener; Irish composer Linda Buckley; and Estonian composer Krõõt-Kärt Kaev, exploring identity, isolation and connectedness, interspersed with wider reflections from across the continent about European identity and the political landscape we now inhabit.
